MasterClass Job Ready Career Skills Academy launched a Mentorship Pilot group of 100 final-year law students that we are mentoring since October 2021. 70% graduated during 2022, whilst the rest are supplementing subjects. From being “lost in the status quo” as unemployed statistics who are demoralised, to sheer passionate, committed, and determined individuals who are taking initiative to push forward. Our collective efforts saw, 65% law graduates been placed as Candidate Attorneys to complete their articles, and we are continuing our quest to achieve a 100% target.

Overview
Career Skills Coaching
As we engage with universities, we find that many students do not like the career choices they made at secondary school to help them harness their careers at tertiary level. This is one of the fundamental reasons why at least 65% students drop out of university so early. The ones that continue without career and vocational coaching end up not being "job and mentally ready."
Unfortunately, the public education system is not resourced to offer tools such as “psychometric and career aptitude assessments, coupled with vocational / career coaching” to assist grade 9 students to prepare for grade 10 where they need to make sober subject selections to map their career journeys.
At “MasterClass Job Ready Career Skills Academy,” we bridge the gap and do a Gap Analysis to identify the additional support the learner might need (see chart below for services).
